What to Expect: Hands-On Learning
We don’t just talk about cars; we get under them. During the workshop, participants will:
Safety First: Every session begins with a mandatory safety briefing and "Shop Etiquette" 101.
Tool Basics: Learn the names, uses, and proper handling of professional-grade hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Mechanical Fundamentals: A guided, step-by-step look at engine components, fluid systems, and tires.
Expert Mentorship: Work in small groups led by experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching.

Acceler8 is proud to announce an exclusive STEAM Class in partnership with Hyundai at our new DTLA location. We’re stripping away the classroom walls and getting under the hood to show how science and tech drive the cars of tomorrow.
From aerodynamics to sustainable engine tech, your student will see STEAM in motion.

2026 Petersen Summer Workshop
The Deep Dive: How a Car Works
This isn't just a lecture series. We’re taking a deep dive into the mechanics, engineering, and technology that keep the world moving. Students will explore the inner workings of vehicles through interactive sessions and expert-led demonstrations.

Days: Monday through Friday (2 Full Weeks)
