Summer Update: Wrapping Up at Petersen, Launching New Pathways
The Acceler8 team just wrapped up our exciting summer workshop at the iconic Petersen Automotive Museum! Over the course of three weeks, 28 students from across the Los Angeles area came together to dive into the world of automotive careers and hands-on skills.
Students explored everything from tool basics and engine components to vehicle inspections and general maintenance. Our incredible team of instructors also introduced them to precision techniques like measuring, as well as tap and die work—giving them a real-world glimpse into the trade. A special highlight of the program was the exclusive tour of the world-famous Vault at the Petersen, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
We’re incredibly grateful to the entire Petersen team for their ongoing support and partnership in making this experience possible. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re already looking forward to growing the program next year!

Now Enrolling: Acceler8’s New Career Development Class
Acceler8 is excited to announce the launch of our very first 16-week cohort at our brand-new training lab in Downtown Los Angeles! This program is designed to give young adults a focused, hands-on introduction to the automotive industry—setting them up for success in a growing and dynamic field.
Over the course of 16 weeks, students will build a strong foundation in automotive fundamentals, gaining the skills needed to pursue their first ASE certification. Along the way, participants will also explore the culture, career pathways, and wide range of opportunities within the industry.
