STEPPING UP FOR A CAUSE: ERIC KENDRICKS JOINS FORCES WITH ACCELER8 IN “MY CAUSE MY CLEATS” CAMPAIGN
We are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between NFL star Eric Kendricks and Acceler8 in the My Cause My Cleats campaign. This Sunday, December 10, promises to be a game-changer as Kendricks laces up our specially designed cleats in support of the program during the game against the Denver Broncos.
Acceler8 supports youth from diverse communities through positive mentorship, workforce development, and career opportunities within the automotive industry. Acceler8 believes all youth deserve self-supporting careers that can help to ensure a brighter future for themselves and their families. We provide workforce development for youth to become resilient, problem-solving, and self-supporting automotive leaders of tomorrow.
Eric has partnered with Acceler8 for the past two years and always brings his dedication and hard work ethic to every program he approaches. And with his automotive passion, Eric was delighted to partner with the Acceler8 Automotive Education Program, keen to learn more about the industry himself. Ramping up his support, NFL players have been given the opportunity to select a cause that is important to them and represent the chosen organization on custom-designed cleats during an NFL game. Revealing their passion beyond the game, the athletes wear their hearts on their feet through My Cause My Cleats.
An important component for the project was a remarkable collaboration with award-winning automotive painter Adam Stone. He provided his artistic support to design the custom cleats Eric will proudly wear for the My Cause My Cleats campaign. Renowned for his exceptional work in the automotive industry, Stone brought his talent to the world of sports, infusing a level of artistry that transcends the ordinary. Employing a masterful blend of special effect paints include metalflake, pear, and candy, Stone has created a visual masterpiece that captures the essence of Los Angeles.
